Lisa’s father tells her news that displeases her : he has to move to Quebec because of his job. To add insult to injury, the whole family has to go with him. Lisa cries. She doesn’t want to leave. She will miss her friends in Taiwan. She will miss her room, which is filled with her favorite posters and collections. She will definitely miss her loving grandma and humorous grandpa. She will miss everything here. However, the decision cannot be reversed. She and her family will be leaving next Monday.

麗莎覺得悲傷極了。爸爸剛剛帶來一個壞消息：他必須被調到加拿大的分公司工作。更令她難過的是，她也必須一起離開台灣，一同去到加拿大。一想到這裡，淚水不停地流下，她根本不想要離開台灣。她將會很想念與她一同成長的青梅竹馬、貼滿她最珍藏的海報們的房間、還有和藹溫暖的外婆、常逗得她哈哈大笑的外公、她將會想念這裡熟悉的一切。儘管有再多的不捨，也無法改變移民的事實，手邊打包的進度一直在進行著，下禮拜一，她將去到完全不一樣的國度展開新生活。
